Enrichment/Solicitation Research: Tips

  • Define the elements of your topic; make sure you have accurately identified what you're looking for.
  • Select relevant database(s) via the Clark Library's Subject Guides list.
  • Try searching for one topic element at a time.
  • Find the best terminology to search for each topic element.  Look at the Subject: Thesaurus Term list.  NOTE: each database you search might use different terminology for your elements.
  • Keep track of the best terms. You might take notes or use the database search history.
