ENV 160: Science of a Sustainable Gourmet: Background Sources

Welcome!

Background sources are good starting points to gather information when you are new to a topic. They are usually written in an accessible way so that anyone can learn more without already being an expert.

Books such as encyclopedias and dictionaries (also called reference books) are designed to do this and are written for readers with no prior knowledge.

Popular press articles in magazines and newspapers, or on news websites can also develop your understanding of a topic.
