Artist in Residence: Claudio Talavera-Ballón: Home

The Spanish faculty at the University have invited Claudio Talavera-Ballón, oil painter and muralist, as artist in residence April 1-5, 2019. During his residency, Claudio will teach eight sections of Spanish and give an all-campus address in English in Buckley Center Auditorium on Wednesday, April 3 at 7:15pm, focusing on his Patronas & Migrants series, Mujeres Luz, as well as a recently commissioned mural in San Francisco on human migration. Sponsors include: Office of the Provost, Office of Diversity & Inclusion, Garaventa Center, Moreau Center, and the departments of International Languages & Cultures, Political Science, and History within the College of Arts & Sciences.
