Class Activity: Articles

  1. Go to the Atla Religion Database with AtlaSerials
  2. Try a search for:
    • a book of the Bible, and see which topics are discussed  -or-
    • a contemporary issue or hermeneutical lens, and see which books of the Bible are discussed
  3. Find a Chicago 17th Edition (Notes & Bibliography) citation to one article and enter it into Poll Everywhere: www.pollev.com/stephanie

Try searching for your contemporary issue, and then add (bible OR biblical) to your search to identify biblical passages that discuss your issue

Example: Race AND (bible or biblical)

Alternatively, search for a book of the Bible, and skim the article titles to see which issues are discussed.
