Close-range sources provide a high degree of detail about biblical passages and topics.

Examples of close-range sources include:

  • Scholarly journal articles
  • Book chapters that delve into a biblical topic or theme

Atla Search Tips

There are two ways to search for scholarly articles on Bible scriptures. Search by:

  • character, concept or topic (Jonah, peace, monotheism, etc.)
  • specific Bible verse (John 3:16, Leviticus 17:1-9, etc.).
