Filter Your Search Results

After you've submitted a search, boost the relevance of your search results by using thedatabase filter options. Often, these are found on the sidebar to the left of your search results. Some common filters are

Choose Peer Reviewed
Do not check Full Text (you will miss articles that are available online with just one or two mouse clicks)
Date Range (limit your search to current articles)

Sometimes, you can select Show More>> to see other limit options (Language, Age Group, etc.)

Choose Subject: Thesaurus Term or other Subject filter to see the terms most associated with your topic; you can select terms to focus your search, or try a new search using the suggested terms.
