Some of the eBook platforms include DRM (Digital Rights Management) to protect the content of their eBooks from copyright abuse. Options for printing vary by eBook collection; some require a personalized account to print, and for some you must download additional software. Depending on the eBook, the amount of material available for printing may be limited. In most cases, to print from eBooks, the content must first be downloaded as a PDF.
Once you have located an eBook you are interested in, you will find the information about printing on the next page. This eBook is available from ProQuest eBook Central. Here you can see that how many pages are available to print:
When you select Available for Reading you will be taken to the book. Here you can print by selecting the printer button on the top of the page:
You will then be able to select the pages you would like to print:
A PDF will then be created of the pages you wish to print.

Here you can see that how many pages are available to print. For this book, you are able to print 100 pages. Type the pages you want to print and select Print PDF.

If you select Download PDF you will be taken to the JSTOR terms of service which you must agree to in order to download.
After you accept, you will be taken to the PDF. Here you can select the print icon to print the content you are interested in.

If you select Get PDF you choose just the chapter or the whole book.
