Class Activity #1: Find a Book on Your Passage

  1. Search for books about the passage you will be writing about for your biblical interpretation paper. (If you don't have that passage available today, use this passage for today's class: Genesis 37: 1-10). 

  2. Use the search box below to search for biblical commentaries on the book of the bible that contains your passage.
    For example: Genesis commentary or Revelation commentary.
     
    Search: for:  

  3. Look for a book that was published after 2000, and is available in the Book Stacks. Take a photo of the call number.

  4. We will go to the lower level to find the book on the shelf and bring it back to the Classroom.

  5. Look up your biblical passage in the book that you found downstairs. 

Class Activity #2: Using Online Bible Commentaries

  1. Find the chapter on your book of the Bible, then look up your passage in one of the following books:
