2. Choose Edit > Settings

3. Choose Sync and enter your Zotero username and password, then select Set Up Syncing.

Set up the Clark Library as the go-to place for Zotero's Library Lookup feature:

  1. Open your Zotero desktop application
  2. Choose Edit > Settings
  3. Under General, scroll down to Locate
  4. Set the Resolver dropdown to Custom
  5. Enter this into the Base URL box:
    https://alliance-up.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/openurl/01ALLIANCE_UPORT/01ALLIANCE_UPORT:UPORT?

Library proxy for off-campus access to online resources

The Zotero Connector in your browser can detect when you use the library's proxy to access a specific site and will ask if you want it to remember the proxy for future visits to matching URLs (for example any Ebsco database). To turn off this message prompt:

  1. Right-click the Zotero Connector in your browser
  2. Choose Options from the dropdown menu
  3. Chose Proxies from the left sidebar
  4. Uncheck the box next to Show a notification when redirecting through a proxy

Note: Some libraries have found that Zotero Connector's proxy feature can result in access problems. If you want to disable proxy detection:

  1. Right-click the Zotero Connector in your browser
  2. Choose Options from the dropdown menu
  3. Chose Proxies from the left sidebar
  4. Uncheck the box for Enable proxy redirection. Also delete all information stored in the Configured Proxies box.
