When Zotero formats APA style citations, it does not change the capitalization of titles; it uses the same capitalization as the original source. However, many sources capitalize all words in the title, while APA uses sentence case, where only the first word in the title, the subtitle, and any proper nouns should be capitalized.
There are several ways to fix title capitalization in Zotero:
(1) Open the citation in Zotero and manually edit the capitalization of the title.
(2) Create your bibliography/reference list and manually edit the capitalization of the titles.
(3) Open the Zotero app, select a citation, then right-click the title of the citation, and select Sentence case. (This step must to done to each citation; it is not possible to edit a group of citations).
