Mendeley has a citation tool that can be downloaded as an add-in for Microsoft Word. You can use Mendeley Cite to:
When Mendeley formats APA style citations, it does not change the capitalization of titles; it uses the same capitalization as the original source. However, many sources capitalize all words in the title, while APA uses sentence case, where only the first word in the title, the subtitle, and any proper nouns should be capitalized.
Mendeley does not provide a way to change title capitalization for APA style citations. Instead, citations need to be edited manually, either in Mendeley or in the bibliography/reference list created by Mendeley.
After installing the add-in, Mendeley Cite can be found in the References tab in Word. By selecting Mendeley Cite, you will be prompted to sign in with your Mendeley account to access your reference library.
