Computer Lab

The Clark Library's main floor hosts one of UP's open computer labs, with 26 PCs and 4 Apple computers. The PC machines have the following assistive programs installed:

Technology and Equipment

Please visit the library service desk if you'd like to borrow any of the following resources.

  • Headphones: Multiple brands and styles are available for 24-hour checkout.

  • Tranquility Kits: A set of items such as full-spectrum lamps, fidget toys, affirmation cards, and various mindfulness tools. These are available for 24-hour checkout.
    Contents of a sample tranquility kit: a Vera lux light, a ball, affirmation cards, a Tangle, other fidget toys
  • Laptops: Assistive software can be installed while in-use. Checkout periods range from 4 hours to a full semester.

Software

You can request a copy of Read&Write for your personal computer; submit a ticket to Information Services. You might also find the below software programs helpful.
