How to Use the Library

You are welcome to use your own device and connect to the UPStudent wireless network with your UP account. Plus, wireless printing is available. 

There are 32 Windows workstations on the main floor, 2 Windows workstations on the lower floor, and 16 Mac workstations in the Digital Lab on the upper floor. Students can also borrow laptops on a first come, first served basis. 

Printing and Copying Accounts

Students receive a $10 credit at the beginning of every semester to use for printing and copying. It is managed through a system called PaperCut which is connected to your network account. If you need to add more money, you can use the Add Value (Virtual Cash Acceptor) station on the wall in the Copy+Print area (it only accepts bills and does not provide change) or at the Library Service Desk (cash or check).

Printing: There are three black and white printers and one color printer                             in the Copy+Print area on the main floor. Printing costs 5 cents per side for black and white and 15 cents per side for color. Print wirelessly from your device by going to

Copying & Scanning: There are two copier/scanner machines in the Copy+Print area on the main floor. Copying costs 5 cents per side for black and white and 15 cents per side for color.
