Persistent Links to Library Resources

Persistent links provide direct and reliable URLs to the library's online resources (articles, streaming videos, ebooks, etc.) that work from on- or off-campus. 

Most library databases provide persistent links, which might also be labeled as permanent links, permalinks, stable URLs, or share links.

Many persistent links will already include the prefix which allows for off-campus access: https://login.uportland.idm.oclc.org/login?url= 

Some library databases do not include the off-campus prefix in the persistent link. This guide will indicate if the prefix needs to be added.
